Mail.

My mailbox is never full of good things. Rarely is it ever full of money, checks, or fun cards (rather the opposite).  Every once in a while, my friend Lynette adds a little bit of panache to my mailbox.

In our almost 15 year friendship, she has sent me countless cards and pieces of art that I love. Yesterday, as I walked home after being caught in a thunderstorm, I opened my mailbox not to find bills, but rather one of her creations.
